Private vs shared boat trip
Shared boat trips are a fine budget option if you just want a couple of hours on the water. But you share the deck with 50 or even hundreds of people, the route is fixed and there is little room to actually relax. Half day (3 hours 30 minutes)
Perfect for a first private charter or if you have plans in the city afterwards.
Full day (7 hours)
Enough time for a proper trip — including Tabarca Island with lunch on board.
Sunset (2 hours)
The most romantic slot. 2 bottles of white wine on the house, calm sea and golden light.
Time slots for a private charter
A private boat is booked by slot rather than by the hour, so you know from the start how the day will run:
- Half Day. 09:00–12:30 or 14:00–17:30. Two windows, so you can choose a morning of sea or an afternoon of swimming.
- Day in Tabarca. 10:00–17:00. Seven hours of private sailing with the island as the destination.
- Sunset. 19:30–21:30. The shortest slot and the one couples and celebrations ask for most.
The slots are fixed so your skipper can plan the route and the meeting point in advance. If none of them fits your day, tell us and we'll find a way.

Who's at the helm
On a private charter there is no rotation of skippers and no shift change: the person who plans the route with you is the one at the wheel on the day. At Aguayate that is one person — Diego, founder and skipper — who knows the coves of Cabo de las Huertas and the Tabarca marine reserve, and who is responsible for the navigation, the safety and the pace of the day.
That is the real luxury of going private: not an extra, but the same person meeting you at the pontoon, walking you through the plan and staying with you until the end. If something changes — the wind, the sea, your appetite — it is decided on the spot, by whoever makes the calls.

What does 'private boat' mean exactly?+

Can we bring our own food and drinks?+
Yes. You can bring your own food and drinks. All three experiences include 2 bottles of white wine.
What is the cancellation policy?+
If the weather doesn't allow a safe outing we always reschedule or refund. For personal cancellations, terms depend on how far in advance you notify us.
