Many people come to Alicante looking for something simpler: a boat trip, a cruise with a few swim stops, a different afternoon. This format is probably the easiest way to discover the Costa Blanca from the water.
At Aguayate all our boat trips are private, but designed for small groups: couples, families or groups of friends looking for a beautiful, low-stress day.
What to expect
The honest answer is you'll disconnect. Slow navigation, several cove stops, food and drinks on your own timing, room to swim and space to do absolutely nothing.
How a boat trip unfolds
Every outing is different, but almost all follow the same shape. Four moments that repeat whatever the format:
- Setting off. The first minutes always pass in front of Santa Bárbara Castle. It's the part of the day when nobody leaves the deck.
- The first stop. We look for calm water and out come the snorkels. It's when the sea is flattest and the seabed is easiest to see.
- The long break. Food, music and lingering conversation. Usually the stretch when people realise they haven't looked at their phone in hours.
- The last swim. Short and falsely rushed, because nobody wants it to end.
The only fixed thing is departure time: Half Day leaves at 09:00 or 14:00, Day in Tabarca at 10:00 and Sunset at 19:30. The rest of the day is up to you.

Route options
Short route: nearby coves
Cabo de las Huertas, Cala Cantalar, Palmera. Less than 30 minutes from the port.
South route: Santa Pola and Tabarca

A more urban coastline with charming coves. Great half-day alternative.
Sunset in the bay
No need to go far. Sailing in front of Postiguet with the Santa Bárbara castle lit up is one of the best postcards of the Costa Blanca.

Do I need any boating experience?+
No. You don't need a license or previous experience. The Costa Blanca coast is calm and the yacht is stable and comfortable.
When is the best time of year?+
May to October, though March and November can also deliver great days. June and September are our favourite months.
What should I bring?+
Swimwear, towel, mineral sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, a light layer for sunset and comfortable shoes. All three experiences include 2 bottles of white wine. Snorkelling gear and a paddle board are included in Half Day and Day in Tabarca, not Sunset.
